Daniel, 44

Daniel was my favorite TA in art school. He was authentic, fun and down-to-earth. I only had him for one quarter and then we went our separate ways. We bumped into each other in a boutique in Silver Lake many years later and have kept in touch since then, even as he moved to London a few years back. Recently, Daniel was back in LA and graciously made time to grab lunch with me. His interview shows that he’s changed in profound ways over the years but that in essence he is the same as he was when he was a grad student and my TA: authentic, down-to-earth and fun.
